Dear colleagues,We (Emily, Natalie, and Kailey) are doctoral students in the Organizational Science program at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte under the advisement of Dr. Janaki Gooty. We are emailing in regards to the Academy of Management conference on August 5-9th 2022, in Seattle.We are currently preparing a proposal for a Presenter Symposium titled "Building a Better Management Science Through Theory Testing and Refinement". The symposium seeks to bring together conceptual, methodological or empirical works on Theory Testing, Theory Refinement, Theory Proliferation and Theory Pruning in the field of Management, shedding light on the challenges and limitations of current literature and potential directions moving forward.With that in mind, we are looking for 3-4 submissions to join us.
