    Dear OMT division members,

We invite you to submit a paper to the special issue of Long Range Planning titled: “Mergers and acquisitions: Time for a theory rejuvenation of the field”

While previous studies have provided important insights into drivers and outcomes of Mergers and Acquisitions (M&As), practices of human resources management, integration processes, and temporal dynamics, the high failure rates of M&As across sectors remain poorly understood and are still “[…] a puzzle for academics and practitioners” (Capasso & Meglio, 2005: 219). Hence, it is time for a rejuvenation of research on M&As.

More information about this special issue can be found here: https://www.journals.elsevier.com/long-range-planning/call-for-papers/mergers-and-acquisitions-time-for-a-theory-rejuvenation
