Full Professor of Strategy and Organisational Behaviour
Imperial College Business School is seeking candidates for the position of Full Professor of Strategy and Organisational Behaviour in the Management and Entrepreneurship (M&E) Department.
Our M&E department is a community of micro and macro scholars, but for this post, we are seeking candidates working on macro-organisational research topics. Reflecting our inclusive view of the field, this includes work in strategy, entrepreneurship, innovation, organisation theory, and even macro trends in which culture and social movements interact with the dynamics of organisation designs and approaches to human resources. In recent years, the school has supported efforts to increase engagement between the department's faculty and other parts of Imperial College, particularly by supporting research that addresses grand challenges in interdisciplinary collaborations that pioneer new methods of research. At the same time, our department has grown with new hires at all levels, and the common denominator for our recent hires has more to do with the quality and promise of scholarship than our current strategy. That is to say, we are pursuing growth and quality for the long term.
The goal of this post is to further enhance the richness of our group by adding a senior scholar with a track record of productive scholarship, excellence in teaching and mentoring, and impact on and service to their fields and institutions.
Salaries are internationally competitive, research support is generous, and teaching requirements are modest by international standards. The expected start date is Aug 1, 2021.
