The Questrom School of Business at Boston University invites applications for a Lecturer in Management and Organizations. The candidate will be joining a vibrant community of scholars and practitioners dedicated to providing exceptional teaching and learning through a variety of modalities to its undergraduate, graduate and executive students. The department is seeking an individual deeply experienced in curriculum design and innovative teaching models hybrid and experiential learning. A candidate with public, private and/or nonprofit professional experience OR with a track record of scholarly research and contributions focused on organizational behavior or teaching pedagogy/innovation is preferred.
The anticipated start date for this faculty position is July 1, 2022.
Prospective candidates should possess the following:
- A terminal degree (Ph.D, Ed.D) in management or a related field, such as psychology or sociology (strongly preferred).
- Strong evidence of teaching effectiveness at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels in a variety of modalities including classroom, online, experiential and hybrid.
- Experience developing curricula at the undergraduate, graduate or professional levels.
- Professional management experience in the public, nonprofit or private sector preferably in positions related to executive management, organizational development, human capital, people analytics or diversity, equity and inclusion.
- A track record of contributing to a vibrant intellectual community as evidenced by involvement with professional and/or educational membership organizations and/or publication of related subject content in journals, blogs or other outlets.
- A commitment to Questrom values regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion.
