Call for Participants – 9th SKEMA KTO Paper Development Workshop
    June 9-11, 2021

    Dear colleagues,

After an involuntary break due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we are pleased to announce the organization of the 9th SKEMA KTO Paper Development Workshop for doctoral students and young researchers.

The workshop will be held by SKEMA Business School in an online format, June 9-11, 2021. We are ready to convert the workshop to a hybrid format if the epidemiological conditions will be favorable.

The purpose of the workshop is to develop the publication strategies and research skills of promising scholars in the fields of innovation, strategy, international business, organization, and entrepreneurship. To allow for interactive discussions and feedback between participants in an online environment, the number of participants will be limited.

Participants will attend seminars conducted by Gautam Ahuja (Cornell Tech), Giada Di Stefano (Bocconi University), Maryann Feldman (UNC at Chapel Hill), Lars Frederiksen (Aarhus University), Tobias Kretschmer (LMU), Daniel Tzabbar (Drexel University), Giovanni Valentini (IESE Business School). Each senior scholar provides feedback to participants in small group sessions, and they will be available for one-on-one meetings for research and career development.

Moreover, other participants from small group sessions will act as junior discussants that will provide additional peer feedback. Thus, participants will be required to read and review the papers their session peers. The workshop will be organized by Bruno Cirillo, Ludovic Dibiaggio, and Diego Zunino (SKEMA Business School).

The workshop is open to all interested scholars though preference will be given to advanced PhD students, post doctorates and early career academics.

Selection of papers will be done through the submission of extended abstracts (or full papers) and a CV no later than April 5 2021 by email to kto-pdw@skema.edu.

    Key dates and further information:

    Abstract deadline: April 5, 2021

Confirmation of acceptance: April 30, 2021

Full paper deadline: May 31, 2021

Submit your extended abstract or full paper to kto-pdw@skema.edu.

Should you have any question, please contact either Bruno Cirillo (bruno.cirillo@skema.edu), Ludovic Dibiaggio (ludovic.dibiaggio@skema.edu) or Diego Zunino (diego.zunino@skema.edu).

    Kind regards,

    The Organizing Committee
