It's not an April Fool's joke. There's a (US universities only) long-standing federally funded program that provides faculty with free intensive research assistance, while giving you a chance to enrich the pipeline of future business faculty. It's called the McNair Program, and it has been around since 1989.
We recently created a network (
) to encourage business school faculty and students to take better advantage of this great opportunity. Check out our website. Plus, there are two upcoming webinars that you may wish to attend.
April 7, 8am EDT
: Ishva Minefee and I will discuss the McNair Business Scholars Network during the AACSB Metropolitan Business Schools Affinity Group meeting. You can sign up (free) here:
Meeting Home Page
April 9, 3pm EDT
: I will moderate a webinar on "Best practices of McNair Programs in business", featuring McNair Program directors and business faculty who have mentored McNair Scholars. You can sign up (free) here:
MBSN 2021 Webinar #2 - Best Practices for McNair Programs in Business
I hope to see you there!
