Symposium organizers: Anne Jacqueminet (Bocconi), Srividya Jandhyala (Essec), Ilze Kivleniece (INSEAD)

Firms and states are dependent on each other to create and sustain economic growth, address vital social issues, and generate new knowledge. They interact with each other in a multitude of ways. Government policy, regulations, and incentives create indirect influence, however, more direct ties such as public-private partnerships are also becoming popular. This symposium aims to address the different types of relationships between firms and governments, and evaluate how they address the grand challenges of our times.
