    Please join the SMS Strategic Human Capital IG Panel Session on the "The Remote Shock and its Strategic Implications on Organizations and the Geographies of Work"

    The COVID-19 shock has suddenly changed the landscape that companies are facing, forcing them to reconsider their strategical micro and macro geographical decisions and the role played by employees' colocation in the functioning of their organizations. These decisions can be highly consequential on organizational design, attraction and retention of talent, and internationalization processes, with larger welfare implications at a societal level.

    This interactive panel brings together a group of leading scholars (Julian Birkinshaw, Prithwiraj Choudhury, Sunkee Lee) to understand the consequences of these strategic spatial decisions from a multiplicity of perspectives by reviewing past insights and offering new research ideas.

    The presentations by the panelists will be followed by a Q&A session with the audience.
