This year's Strategy Science Doctoral Workshop will take place on April 30, 2020. The Workshop is an all-day event that covers multiple activities starting from breakfast through dinner. The highlights are the breakout sessions, in which every student receives undivided attention from their peers and faculty mentors in a small group setting. The students will have opportunities to ask the faculty mentors for advice on the most pressing questions concerning their research.

The format is targeted toward students who are finishing or have recently finished their coursework and are in the early stages of their dissertation work (not targeting the upcoming job market cycle). Applicants should send a brief (3 to 4 page) statement of their research interests along with their CV and provide one letter of recommendation from a faculty member. Students admitted to the Workshop will also be invited to participate in the Strategy Science Conference that follows on May 1-2. The Conference and the Workshop will be held at the Wharton School and are being co-sponsored by the journal Strategy Science and the Mack Institute for Innovation Management at the Wharton School. Strategy Science, an INFORMS journal, is establishing itself as an important voice in the strategy field, providing an outlet for innovative strategy research tackling central questions in the field.

The deadline for submissions to the Conference and the Doctoral Workshop is February 1, 2020. Submissions can be uploaded here: whr.tn/SSC-Call
