EGOS (European Group for Organizational Studies)
PDW (Pre-Colloquium Development Workshop)
PDW 01 β Meta-Organizing for Desirable Futures: The Potential of New Ways of Working and Cooperating [hybrid]
DEADLINE:
April 30, 2025
π― You can read the full call for papers below, but we particularly invite perspectives that discuss:
1) how new ways of working and cooperating contribute to the understanding of what meta-organizations and meta-organizing are and
2) how meta-organizing practices and processes challenge dominant orders and may facilitate radical transformation.
ποΈ The PDW will be held on Wednesday morning, July 2, 2025 [09:00β13:00], and hybrid participation will be enabled, although the priority is given to on-site participation.
To be considered for this PDW, please submit β via the EGOS website β
by April 30, 2025 a single document
of application (.docx or .pdf file) that includes:
A cover page with full details of name, affiliation and email address;
A short statement of motivation for participation (150 words);
A proposal for a working paper or a draft of the paper (maximum 15 pages).
The PDW is a great opportunity to get feedback on a structured paper, but also to emphasize specific parts in which one may need additional ideas or inspiration. Please consider submitting your work highlighting specific needs. For example, if you need help on framing/discovering a phenomenon from your data or need suggestions on how to frame the research methods or how to theorize from the data, you can make it clear in your proposal.
