    Hello
I am writing to you in my capacity as the OMT Division Program Chair for 2025.
As of this morning, the division has received 935 submissions!!!
    • 632 papers (vs 463 in Chicago 2024) - up 36% [slightly below 651 received in Vancouver 2015, our highest number ever]
    • 203 symposia (vs 137 in Chicago 2024) - up 48% [highest number ever]
    • 61 PDW proposals (vs 48 in Chicago 2024) - up 27% [highest number ever]
    • 39 posters (brand new category, no historical precedent within past decade+)

However, on the reviewer front, we are not seeing the same enthusiasm :-)

    • 739 reviewers (vs 859 in Chicago 2024) - down 14% [well below 1,200 reviewers for Chicago 2018, our highest number ever]
As shown below, at this point the Division needs to provide ~2500 reviews, but we only have the capacity for ~2200. So we need 100+ more reviewers.

If you are not already signed up to review for the OMT Division, please follow this link and sign up today: https://review.aom.org/2025/MyReviews.aspx

We will begin assigning reviewers on Friday. So we have 48 hours to recruit at least 100 more reviewers.
Thank you for helping make OMT The Place To Be.

PS, According to AOM, there were some technical difficulties near yesterday's submission deadline. I have helped about a dozen people sort things out. If you were unable to upload or finalize due to the high volume of submissions, please submit no later than 1:00PM ET today, 8 January by visiting submit.aom.org. If you're still having difficulties, contact program@aom.org with your 5-digit submission ID along with your manuscript.
