The Strategic Management Department of IESE Business School is seeking expressions of interest from internationally recognized scholars in the fields of organization theory, sustainability, innovation and/or strategic management who may be interested in a tenure-track or tenured research position in Spain, supported by the Spanish government's ATRAÉ Program (State Program to Attract Consolidated Talent).
This prestigious and competitive initiative supports the stable incorporation of senior researchers into Spanish institutions through actions lasting 3 or 4 years, with funding of up to €1.2 million, including salary, research project support, and infrastructure. The program aims to reinforce Spain's international research networks and scientific leadership. The 2025 call includes increased funding for candidates from U.S.-based research institutions, reflecting a strategic effort to strengthen transatlantic academic collaboration. Candidate profile:
- PhD awarded before January 1, 2018
- At least 5 years of professional activity at international research institutions (between Jan 1, 2019 and the application deadline)
- Not currently employed in a permanent or contracted research position at a Spanish university or public research organization
- A strong publication and leadership record in their area of expertise
