Colleagues  - With acknowledgement about cross-posting... and hopes that you'll consider joining us on July 24 in Denmark (pre-AOM) to learn how to teach about paradox and complexity to undergrads, grads, PhDs and execs

    Dear paradox colleagues,

Please be reminded that you are invited to join us in taking advantage of the physical co-location of many paradox scholars for the AoM Annual Meeting in Denmark, where we organize a AoM-pre conference event focusing on innovating paradox teaching and learning. (NB! You can participate in this event even if you are not participating in the AoM Annual Meeting).

This event presents master classes with paradox teaching capacities such as Wendy Smith, Gail Fairhurst, Linda Putnam, Rikke Kristine Nielsen, Natalie Slawinski, Ella Miron-Spektor, and Camille Pradies, where we learn from each other and advance our teaching. Also, the event will capture and develop the collective wisdom of all participants in interactive formats to create a scholarly paradox teaching and learning toolkit as a pathway to accelerating our efforts to bring paradox to the world. The event will also be designed to facilitate networking – meeting new and old friends (including the possibility of joining us for a Copenhagen Harbor boat trip after the event, pick-up directly outside venue).

The event takes place on Thursday July 24, 2025 (the day before AoM), 9AM-5PM in central Copenhagen at Aalborg University Copenhagen (close to downtown as well as the AoM venue, see GoogleMaps). No hybrid/virtual attendance possible.

    Registration & submission
Admission is free, but participation is contingent upon the submission of a 2-5 page paradox-related teaching and learning tool in advance of your participation (see submission instructions below). The organizing committee is finalizing the detailed program for the event, and it is safe to assume that we will work in groups and plenary with the submitted tools, so be prepared to share your submission at the event.

Event registration deadline April 11, 2025
We still have room for additional colleagues to join us, but we have limited capacity, so please register for the event as soon as possible - and no later than April 11, 2025, by filling in this registration form:
    https://forms.gle/SSnQ2mF3FfmGoWau6. Registration is binding.

Paradox teaching tool submission deadline April 11, 2025
