(For those with a particular interest in sexual violence, this group is based at Anglia Ruskin University and puts on a series of stimulating events in response to a horrendous societal challenge.) We would like to invite you to the Sexual Violence Research Group's upcoming webinar on Wednesday the 23rd of October from 10-11:00 a.m. titled Vicarious Trauma and post-doctoral reflections: In conversation with Dr Michael Guerzoni from the University of Tasmania.
In this webinar, Dr Mike Guerzoni, from the University of Tasmania, will be in conversation with Dr Sarah Colley, and they will be discussing vicarious trauma in sensitive research, and Dr Guerzoni's own experiences during his doctoral research.
Dr Michael A. Guerzoni is a Senior Lecturer in Criminology in the School of Social Sciences, at the University of Tasmania, Australia. His criminological research examines organisational cultures and practices pertaining to the safeguarding of children from sexual abuse within religious institutions. He is the author of Child Protection in the Church: An Anglican Case Study (Routledge, 2021).
