THE JOURNAL OF APPLIED BEHAVIORAL SCIENCE
    SPECIAL ISSUE CALL FOR PROPOSALS

The Journal of Applied Behavioral Science (JABS) invites proposals for special issues that consider a specific research area that has broad appeal and falls within the aims and scope of the journal (https://journals.sagepub.com/home/jab)

JABS brings to scholars and professionals the latest theory and research on processes and techniques of change in groups, organizations and larger systems, and academic-practitioner collaborations. The journal also informs professionals and organizations on issues in group, organizational and system dynamics.

Special issues provide an opportunity to review an addressed topic, deal with previously underdeveloped aspects, or examine new approaches, perspectives or lines of research.

All submissions are welcome. Selection of special issues will be made by the Editor-in-Chief, in consultation with Associate Editors, based on the proposal.

To help potential Guest Editors to prepare a special issue proposal suitable for evaluation by the JABS editorial team, a proposal should include:

To be considered as a potential SI, authors must first submit a proposal containing the following:

    • Names and affiliations of the proposed Guest Editors.
    • Justification for dedicating an entire issue to this topic.
    • The special issue's objective.
    • The special issue's scope: potential themes addressed in the special issue.
    • Examples of questions that would meet the objective of the special issue.
    1. An explanation about how potential guest editors plan to attract researchers from around the world.
    2. Guest editors are asked to include a list of potential reviewers in their proposal.
    3. A plan for promoting the special issue
    4. A short explanation of proposed guest editor research background and editorial experience.
