The Saunders College of Business at RIT; the Society for the Advancement of Management Studies (SAMS); the Institute for Business, Government, and Society at RIT; and RIT Croatia are co-sponsoring a workshop on The Future of Business Research: Bridging disciplinary and cultural divides in engaged scholarship at RIT's Dubrovnik, Croatia campus on June 3, 2024.
The 1-day workshop kicks off with a keynote address by Jerry Davis, Gilbert and Ruth Whitaker Professor of Business Administration at Michigan's Ross School of Business entitled "How can business research have a positive impact on the world?" The day also includes roundtables, plenaries, and and a panel discussion with senior scholars, including Dana Minbaeva, Associate Editor from Academy of Management Review, and Damian O'Doherty, Senior Editor from Organization Studies, with a particular focus on the challenges associated with engaged scholarship.
