    Dear colleagues,

We are organizing a PhD Summer School on "Approaches for studying collaboration across boundaries and the pursuit of common good" at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on June 19 - 21, 2017. If your PhD students are studying collaboration across boundaries, we would appreciate if you could forward this e-mail to them.

The ABRI Summer School in Management Studies 2017 aims to bring together researchers who share an interest in generating knowledge about how and when actors with different interests, values, and/or institutional backgrounds can successfully collaborate. As collaboration is a topic that has been addressed in several disciplines of social sciences, albeit in different ways, we purposefully immerse ourselves in various literatures that have examined collaboration across boundaries. We will discuss contemporary research examining interorganizational collaboration, collaboration across functions and occupations during creative projects, and collaboration across institutional boundaries.

Teaching faculty include Bernard Leca (ESSEC), Frank den Hond (Hanken), Riku Ruotsalainen (VU), Brian Tjemkes (VU), Jingshu Du (VU), and Marc Bahlmann (VU). Application deadline is on May 15, 2017. More information about the Summer School, program, and registration can be found at: http://abri.vu.nl/en/events/summer_school_management/index.aspx

If you have any questions about the program, please send me or ABRI's Policy Officer Niki Konijn (n.m.konijn@vu.nl) e-mail.

    Best regards,

    Riku
