    Faculty Member – Master of Science in Engineering Management

    Overview
    Indiana Tech is a thriving, independent, teaching-oriented institution with a focus on career/professional programs. Indiana Tech enrolls approximately 1,400 students in its traditional programs on its main campus and over 7,000 students in Professional Studies programs at 16 regional locations and online. Indiana Tech's picturesque main campus is located on 45 acres near downtown Fort Wayne. All academic programs are designed to provide students with relevant and practical experiences, including an emphasis on internships. The university is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
     
    Tech is seeking a tenure-track faculty member to teach Master of Science in Engineering Management (MSE) courses beginning in Fall 2018. A Ph.D. is required in engineering management, system engineering,  or a closely related field. A Ph.D. in management with an engineering background will be considered. Also a minimum of three years of industry experience is required. This is a full-time teaching position. The successful applicant must be an excellent teacher. The successful applicant will teach a broad range of MSE courses. The MSE courses are taught in an eight-week format in the early-evening hours.
     
    The MSE program includes courses in quality assurance, lean manufacturing, enterprise resource planning, financial management, project management, and managerial economics. An optional Information Systems concentration includes topics such as enterprise networking and communication, systems analysis and design, and information processing.
     
    In addition to teaching, the successful applicant will support Indiana Tech initiatives to recruit and retain students. The applicant will advise students and will assist in further development of the MSE program.
