    Colleagues,

I am looking for established scale items that measure mimetic, coercive and
normative isomorphism. Has anyone come across any?

    Thanks,

    Scott

    Scott,
I am not aware of any and this is part of the problem. See Mizruchi and
Fein 1999 ASQ. If you find any--please let me know, as if not it is
symptomatic of the high submission rate and low acceptance rate of
institutional papers--and the unsystematic growth of this literature.
Many of my colleagues argue that the literature has moved beyond a focus
on isomorphism (AOM session about 4 years ago with Ocasio, Thornton,
Lounsbury, Powell, and Mezias). Are you doing something in terms of the
history of the literature? Most work now is focused on institutional
change and the development of a variety of agentive mechanisms at
    multiple levels of analysis.

    Best,
    Pat Thornton
