DISTANCES IN ORGANIZATIONS WORKSHOP
May 11-12, 2018
McGill University
Montreal, QC, Canada
We invite submissions for Distances in Organizations, a workshop that will be held at McGill University in May 2018. The workshop will cover topics such as social distances between employees, spatial distances in work teams, temporal distances in work projects, construal levels, and their relationships with important management constructs (e.g., justice, creativity, performance). The goal of this workshop is to provide a unique platform for academics and graduate students engaged in research in the field to present their findings and discuss innovative ideas. Distances in Organizations is anticipated to be a small workshop (around 30 participants) to facilitate discussion and exchange of ideas between attendees. In addition, the workshop aims to encourage networking through meals, cocktail hours, and a guided tour of Old Montreal.
