    Position Description and Duties

    The Department of Economics and Business in the Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership at the City College of New York seeks candidates for a tenure track position, effective for Fall 2015, pending budget approval. Preference will be given to candidates specializing in organizational behavior or information systems, but other fields will be considered. Applicants must be able to demonstrate their commitment to teaching as well as excellent scholarly work. The City College of New York has provided a world-class higher education to an increasingly diverse student body--serving as one of the single most important avenues to upward mobility in the nation. The search committee is particularly interested in candidates who can continue those traditions in both their teaching and research.

    Qualification Requirements

    Ph.D. is required.  For associate and full professorial positions, Ph.D. in Management (or related field), and an excellent publication record is essential.  The position also requires both the interest and skills for effective teaching and interaction with students of multi-ethnic backgrounds in an urban commuter setting.
