2006 OMT JUNIOR FACULTY WORKSHOP
August 11-13, 2006
The OMT division is pleased to present the annual OMT Junior Faculty workshop. If you hold an assistant professor rank (or its equivalent), this professional development workshop is for you. The Workshop tries to make available the knowledge that you need to live long and prosper in both the local and global academic environment. The Workshop focuses on strategies for impact as a scholar and teacher, as well as on building a career in diverse professional settings. In the workshop, you will have a chance to interact with an exciting team of Workshop Faculty Fellows through panels, discussion and informal talk, and to meet many other peer colleagues starting out as assistant professors.
The roster of Faculty Fellows for the 2006 Workshop includes:
Beth Bechky (UC Davis), Stewart Clegg, (University of Technology Sydney), Rick Delbridge (University of Cardiff), Lex Donaldson (Australian Graduate School of Management), Kathleen Eisenhardt (Stanford University), Henrich Greve (Norwegian School of Management), Candace Jones, (Boston College), Theresa Lant (New York University), William Ocasio (Northwestern University), Mike Tushman (Harvard University), Ray Reagans (Columbia University), Jim Walsh (University of Michigan), Marvin Washington (University of Alberta)

There is limited enrollment to ensure that Workshop Faculty Fellows and participants have ample time to interact in formal and informal settings. We expect 30-35 new faculty participants and the 14 or so Workshop Faculty Fellows. You are more than welcome to apply for yourself, but we also encourage deans, department chairs, and other senior faculty to suggest this to workshop to junior faculty whom they think would benefit from the Workshop experience.
