PDW: Publishing Process Research: A Preview of the AMJ Special Research Forum on Process Studies
Deadline for Part 2 paper submissions: 9 July 2012
This eighth annual PDW will focus on publishing process research in Academy of Management Journal (AMJ). It is based on author presentations and editorial comment on papers in the forthcoming AMJ Special Research Forum on Process Studies of Change in Organization and Management.
The PDW runs in two consecutive parts. Part 1 focuses on the Special Forum, with the presentation of a quantitative and a qualitative paper by their respective authors, and a comment on the review process from the handling editor for each paper. The panel of the editors includes Ann Langley, Clive Smallman and Andy Van de Ven, and the presenting authors are Patricia Klarner, Sebastian Raisch and Jaco Lok. Part 2 provides participants with opportunities to present and receive feedback on their own process studies in small group discussions with past and present Process Research PDW faculty and other participants on short papers that they submit about their process research projects.
Speakers and Facilitators include:
· Julia Balogun, Lancaster U., United Kingdom
