The Faculty of Business is operating under the mandate to enhance its research productivity, and we are looking to hire someone who will contribute to this mandate. Recent publications by current faculty members have appeared or are forthcoming in such journals as AMJ, AMR, SMJ, JMS, JBV, JIBS, and so on. We are most interested in applicants with strong research focus at the intersection of strategy and organization theory. Institutional scholars are particularly welcome.

    Assistant Professor – Strategic Management

    Job Summary

    The Faculty of Business, Brock University invites applications for a probationary tenure track position in Strategic Management. Starting July 1, 2013, the rank is open at the Assistant Professor level, dependent upon qualifications. The availability of this position is subject to final budgetary approval.


    Qualifications

    Qualifications include a doctorate in strategic management or a related discipline completed or near completion. Candidates in all specialty areas of strategic management are encouraged to apply, especially those with a secondary research interest in organizational theory (such as institutional theory). Candidate applications should demonstrate a well-developed and ongoing research agenda. Position level and salary are commensurate with the applicants' qualifications. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadians and permanent residents will be given priority.
