    The College of Business at the University of New Haven is currently seeking a Tenure Track Assistant/Associate Professor of Management for the 2014-2015 academic year with a specialization in one of the following management areas:  international management, leadership, social entrepreneurship or organizational behavior/human resources. 

     

    Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

     

    1.       Candidate must possess a Ph.D. in business administration and/or management or related field from an

    internationally recognized and accredited institution (AACSB or equivalent). 

     

    2.       Candidate will demonstrate research and scholarship as it relates to practice in the industry.  Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate evidence of technology skills, knowledge of assessment and assurance of learning, research/scholarship activities, passion for teaching, and dedication to experiential learning.

     

     Requirements for all applicants include evidence of superior teaching, scholarship, service, and a strong commitment to our students' professional development.   Candidate will be responsible for classroom teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, and will also be intimately involved in student advising and focused primarily on program growth opportunities.  Curriculum development, integration of experiential learning in coursework, demonstrated research and scholarship and a service learning background are also highly desirable.

     

    The hired faculty member will be based in the Management Department.  The Department has an international reputation with well-known faculty members, well positioned alumni, and a reputation for being innovative and offering cutting edge professional training.
