    Two tenure track positions at Santa Clara University, Leavey School of Business

     

    Tenure Track Assistant Professor Position in Strategy 

    Position summary: The Management Department of the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Strategy beginning September, 2016. We invite applications from individuals working at the frontiers of strategy with complementary training and research interests in innovation and/or organization theory. We are particularly interested in candidates who can contribute to our portfolio of research in strategy (competitive heterogeneity), organizational emergence, innovation and entrepreneurship policy.

    Qualifications: Candidates must have a Ph.D. or equivalent from an AACSB-International accredited university in Strategy. The PhD must be completed, or near completion, by the start date. Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to publish their research in high-quality peer-reviewed scholarly journals and also have demonstrated excellence teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.

    Tenure Track Assistant Professor Position in OB/OT/Innovation at the Leavey School of Business, Santa Clara University

     

    Position summary: The Management Department of the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in OB/OT/Innovation beginning September, 2016.

     

    We are particularly interested in candidates who can contribute to our portfolio of research focused on teams, innovation, and/or the use of technology in organizations. Candidates must be able to teach both micro organizational behavior (individuals and teams in organizations) and organizational analysis and design (organizational systems and practices). The strongest candidates will also have interests in teaching our core master's level innovation course and/or other undergraduate and graduate electives.

       

    Qualifications: Candidates must have a Ph.D. or equivalent from an AACSB-International accredited university in organizational behavior or a closely related field, such as social psychology. PhD must be completed or near completion by the start date. Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to publish their research in high-quality peer-reviewed scholarly journals and also have demonstrated excellence teaching business organizational behavior, organization theory, and/or innovation at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
