FACULTY POSITION OPENING – Management and Organizations

The Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management invites applications for a tenure-track position in our Management and Organizations group, with start date of July 2016. Applicants with research and teaching interests related to organizational behavior will be considered. Responsibilities of the position include research in area(s) of expertise, teaching basic and advanced courses in management at the MBA and Ph.D. levels, supervision of doctoral candidates, and service to the School. All levels will be considered, but the ideal candidate will be at the Assistant Professor level and will have demonstrated evidence of success in teaching at the MBA level.
Johnson offers MBA, Accelerated MBA, Executive MBA, and Ph.D. programs. Its MBA programs are consistently ranked in the top 20. Faculty in the Management and Organizations group conduct research on diverse topics using diverse research methods. Current tenure- track faculty members are Ya-Ru Chen, Jim Detert, Glen Dowell, Christopher Marquis, Beta Mannix, Sunita Sah, Wesley Sine, and Isaac Smith. Located in Ithaca, New York, Johnson is part of Cornell University - an inclusive, dynamic, and innovative Ivy League university which is also New York's land-grant institution.

Note that applicants must have a Ph.D. in an appropriate field or be close to completion for consideration. Also, doctoral candidates and those who have graduated in the last two years must also provide letters of recommendation from their references.
