Job Posting: Assistant/Associate Professor in Management
Job Summary: The Research Institute of Economics and Management (RIEM) at the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) seeks full-time, tenure-track or tenured positions in Strategic Management, Human Resources Management, Marketing, Organization Behavior, Entrepreneurship, Operations Management and more.
Job Requirements: We seek candidates who can work in a collaborative interdisciplinary team, build and maintain an innovative learning environment, advise and support our students in a creative way, and serve the university.
- Qualified applicants will have completed or be near completion of the Ph.D. degree or equivalent.
- Native speaker of English or fluent level as second language.
- Evidence of teaching is preferred (if available).
- Prior teaching and research experiences are highly desirable.
Review and Interview:
The review process will begin immediately and continue until the positions are filled. Successful candidates are expected to hold a Ph.D. degree before their work starts in SWUFE and to conduct teaching in English. A compensation package includes competitive salary, moving and housing allowance, research startup fund and annual bonuses. Applicants with prior teaching and research experiences are strongly encouraged. Package: A compensation package includes a salary around RMB 250,000 (negotiable), a startup fund RMB 100,000, annual conference support fund of RMB 20,000, and a housing allowance of RMB 180,000, plus generous match in health insurance and retirement plan. Other bonuses depend on performance in teaching and publications. Academic rank and compensation are commensurate with qualification and experience.
