The Ph. D. program in Management prepares students for an academic career researching and teaching in organization behavior and strategy. As a Ph. D. student in Management, you will be working with faculty who are outstanding researchers publishing in the best journals in the field, and who have considerable experience successfully advising doctoral students.
Our faculty in Management conduct research on a wide variety of management topics, at the macro, meso, and micro levels, from organizational behavior, judgment and decision-making, human resource management, behavioral strategy, corporate strategy, and organization theory. We conduct our research using diverse methodologies: statistical and econometric analyses of large-sample datasets; machine learning models on big data; laboratory experiments and surveys; and agent-based modeling. Applications to the Ph.D. program in Management are now being accepted for the 2019/20 academic year. The deadline for applications is January 15, 2019. For the Ph.D. program in Management we expect a GMAT score of at least 650.
