    Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to inform you about and to invite you to submit your paper to the track:

Microfoundations of Strategy: Dynamic Capabilities & Knowledge Mechanisms

at the EURAM conference that will be held in Reykjavik, Iceland,  20 – 23rd of June 2018,

a convenient 3-6 hours flight from major hubs such as London, Montreal, New York & Paris.

This track may be particularly interesting to you as a member of the Organization and Management Theory listserv because of this division's focus on theories of organization and management and organizing processes. We welcome contributions from those working in this domain that explicitly focus on cross level dynamics, i.e. take a microfoundations approach.

This track aims to build a platform for discussion of issues related to this important subdomain of strategic management research. Specifically, we seek to encourage discussion regarding questions about dynamic capabilities and knowledge mechanisms, such as "How do dynamic capabilities promote entrepreneurship, and innovation?" and "How to balance between internal knowledge accumulation and external knowledge absorption?" Thus, we aim at developing strategic management further on how these topics link to important strategic processes and outcomes in organizations, and how the different levels of analysis are linked to one another to build richer explanations.

We would be very happy if you decided to contribute to this track by submitting a paper to it. The full call for papers for the track can be found here: https://tinyurl.com/ybmuqgwu

The submission deadline for your papers is January 10th, 2018 (2pm Brussels/CET time).

If you need further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Please forward this invitation to others who may be interested.

    Best regards

Rob Jansen, Lolita Jurksiene, Gerardus Lucas, Asta Pundziene & Mait Rungi
