    Posted 07-14-2016 12:35

    Dear friends,

After last year's success, the OMT Cafes (and Happy hours) are returning as part of the new Off-Program OMT Events.

One of the good things of being part of the Off-Program is that we are now much more flexible than last year. OMT cafes are no longer confined to Friday and Saturday, and we can include new Cafes up until the days of the conference (you will find a constantly updated calendar of OMT events at https://goo.gl/IkOyny)

Below you will find a list of the Cafes that are currently scheduled, but more are welcome. If you are interested in hosting an OMT Café all you need to do is:

    1)      send me a theme, a place and time (try not to overlap with other Cafes or with OMT social events), and name and affiliation of hosts

    2)      promote your Café through conventional and unconventional channels. Make sure people who may be interested now about it (we will also do our part)

    3)      show up at the event and be ready to welcome everyone interested in spending an hour in a casual venue, discussing common interests (arriving 10-15 minutes before and securing one or two tables may be wise)

Thank you once again to all the organizers, and looking forward to having even more Cafes on our calendar!
