The aim of this sub-theme is to promote rigorous conceptual and empirical
research on individual learning as it relates to the organizational
context. We invite academic papers that investigate learning within
organizations. Possible topics for this sub-theme include (but are not
restricted to):
* The relation between organizational change efforts and learning among
employees and decision makers;
* The benefits of training for trainees as well as co-workers
* The influence of emotions on individual learning;
* Formal training as a trigger of informal learning;
* The role of trust in interpersonal learning;
* The contribution of leadership to learning;
* Organizational culture as a context for workplace learning;
* The contribution of cross-functional teams to individual learning;
* Learning from mergers & acquisitions
