***WANT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT RESEARCH METHODS AT AOM THIS SUMMER?***
Then volunteer as a student aid for the RM division's PDW's!!! We are looking
for student aids to assist presenters at each PDW. You choose the session(s)
you'd like to attend and you get to register for *FREE*. Your duties could
involve helping participants to check in, assisting a presenter in making copies
or setting up a laptop/projector, or ad hoc responsibilities. The work is easy,
the reward is great, and the time is minimal (many sessions only last an hour).
See below for how to volunteer.
Who: You and other Ph.D. students
What: Student aids at the Research Methods division Professional Development
Workshops (PDW's).
When: August 11-13
Why: To get involved at AOM, to meet research methods faculty and students, and
to learn about research methods for free!
How:
1. Look at the list of scheduled PDW's (See below).
2. Email Todd Darnold at
todd-darnold@uiowa.edu. Provide the name of the PDW
you'd like to attend and a second choice in case your first choice is
unavailable. If you are willing to volunteer for more than one session,
indicate this in your email. Todd will contact you with further instructions.
3. Show up in Atlanta ready for some methods fun!
