A recent graduate from our university's physical therapry (PT) program is working with two other graduates to study whether working in PT clinics that provide pro bono assistance develops leadership skills in volunteers. Can anyone suggest a leadership skills measure that is defensible on technical grounds (validity, reliability), is likely to be useful in an applied research setting, and which would be sufficiently easy to administer so physical therapists without research training could use them properly. Also please include information on where to find the measures you recommend. (I should add that the student came to me because she was in a research-based HR course I taught.) Thanks.
