    The Management and Organization Department at VU University Amsterdam invites applications for a tenure track position in strategy, entrepreneurship or organization theory. We are seeking an enthusiastic colleague with a passion for research and teaching.

     

    The Department involves a thriving community of senior and junior scholars with interests in strategy, entrepreneurship and organizational topics such as organizational identity, trust, creativity and learning. Colleagues in the department regularly publish in leading journals such as Academy of Management Review, Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Journal, and the Journal of Management Studies. The Department has a collaborative ethos with staff actively working together on research projects and papers.

     

    Prospective candidates must demonstrate an ability to publish their research in internationally competitive journals and must have completed a PhD degree in business, management, or related areas (or with a fixed date for the defense).

     

    The tenure-track position secures 40% of time for research alongside teaching and institutional (committees) contributions. The initial appointment will be for 6 years and with the possibility of tenure. The starting date is flexible.

    We offer a competitive salary package in accordance with university regulations for academic personnel (salary scale 11 or 12 up to a maximum of €4.970,- gross per month), depending on experience and based on a fulltime employment.
