OMT CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
The Organization and Management Theory Division is seeking nominations for
candidates to run for Program Chair Elect (one opening) and Representative
At Large (two openings). These are highly prestigious elected posts,
generally held by deep thinkers with a generous commitment to professional
service. Thus, self-nominations and other-nominations are both welcome.
The Program Chair Elect rotates through five positions of one year each:
Program Chair Elect, Program Chair, Chair Elect, Division Chair, and Past
Division Chair. Because of the time commitment required for organizing the
Academy conference program as Program Chair, this role has traditionally
been held by a reasonably senior (tenured) person.
The Representative-At-Large is a three-year post. During the first two
years, the primary responsibilities include organizing the OMT Doctoral or
New Faculty Consortium. The third year is for special projects.
