As part of Warwick Business School's international
strategy we are seeking to strengthen links with
leading, global business schools. The Warwick Visiting
Scholars Scheme encourages international academics to
spend between one and four months at Warwick Business
School, with the objective of creating a mutually
beneficial exchange of knowledge and practice.

Applications are invited from academics who would like
to develop a research link with a WBS subject group or
research centre, or already have an existing link.
Applicants would need to be able to demonstrate how
collaboration between the schools in research and
course development would be strengthened through their
    visit.

    Partnership in International Management Initially,
    applications from members of PIM
    (http://www.pimnetwork.org/) will be given first
preference. Applications from elsewhere will also be
    considered, depending on uptake.

Academics would expect to be engaged in research and
also have an interest in the development of modules on
one of our courses at either undergraduate,
postgraduate or post-experience levels. A brief report
from the scholar and the host group/centre outlining
the outputs, impacts and benefits to the scholar and
the two schools will be required on completion of the
    stay.

WBS will provide a stipend of 1,000 per month to
cover the cost of a campus apartment and a
contribution towards living expenses, as well as a one
off travelling expenses payment of up to 500. An
additional fee of 1,000 per month will be payable
where the scholar contributes to teaching or to a
specific research project in the host subject group or
research centre. The duration of scholarships is
between one and four months up until July 2007.
