Vertical Campus, Baruch College, New York
CALL FOR PAPERS
International Center for Corporate Accountability (ICCA) is pleased to
announce its Second International Conference to be held at the Vertical
Campus of Baruch College in New York City. The general theme of the
conference is “Globalization and the Good Corporation.”
This conference will build on the success of ICCA’s First International

“Corporate Codes of Conduct for Multinational Corporations: Promises and
Challenges.”
Interested individuals should initially submit a proposal (maximum 500
words). It should include a brief description of the subject matter,
research methodology, conclusions and recommendations for future
action/research. Deadline for proposal submission is February 16, 2007.
We seek original papers that focus on the issues covered under the umbrella
theme of “Globalization and the Good Corporation.” Among the topic areas to
be covered at the conference are:
Global Initiatives in Corporate Social Responsibility and
Sustainability
Globalization and Corporate Social Accountability
Corporate Global Citizenship
Corporate Governance and Corporate Reputation
Managing for Results - Business Ethics, Corporate Responsibility
and Corporate Social Accountability
Triple Bottom Line – People, Planet, and Profit
Shareholder Activism

A selected group of papers presented at the conference (and subject to
further peer review) would be included in special issues of a number of
leading professional journals. These are: Journal of Business Ethics,
Business and Society Review, Business Ethics Quarterly, Journal of
Transnational Corporations (UNCTAD, Switzerland), and Corporate Governance
(UK).
