    > The OMT division is pleased to present the annual OMT Junior Faculty
    > workshop. If you hold an assistant professor rank (or its equivalent),
    > this professional development workshop is for you. The workshop tries to
    > make available the knowledge that you need to prosper in both the local
    > and global academic environment. The workshop focuses on strategies for
    > impact as a scholar and teacher, as well as on building a career in
    > diverse professional settings. In the workshop, you will have a chance to
    > interact with an exciting team of workshop Fellows through panels,
    > discussion and informal talk, and to meet many other peers early in their
    > careers.

    > The workshop will be held just prior to the Academy of Management meetings
    > in Philadelphia, from Friday August 3rd at 6pm through Sunday August 5th
    > at 11:30 am.
    >
    > On Sunday, you will meet the editors from some of the leading journals in
    > the field including Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management
    > Journal, Administrative Science Quarterly, Organization Science, Journal
    > of Management Studies, Strategic Management Journal, and Strategic
    > Organization to gain insights and tips for publishing in the top journals
    > in our field.
    >
    > There is limited enrollment to ensure that Fellows and participants have
    > ample time to interact in formal and informal settings. We expect 35-40
    > new faculty participants and the 18 Fellows. You are more than welcome to
    > self-nominate, but we also encourage deans, department chairs, former
    > workshop alumni and other senior faculty to suggest this workshop to
    > junior faculty whom they think would benefit from the experience.
    >
    > To apply, send a nomination letter (or self-nomination) that includes the
    > following:
    >
    > 1. Name and address with current mail and e-mail addresses, telephone
    > and fax numbers, as well as institutional affiliation
    >
    > 2. A 1-page description of your current research interests that will
    > serve as your introduction to the other participants.
    >
    > 3. Your curriculum vitae.
    >
    > 4. Apply as soon as possible as space is limited, but no later than
    > May 19, 2006.
    >
    > 5. Accepted participants will be required to pay $100.00 USD to defer
    > the costs of the Friday night dinner, and Saturday breakfast and lunch.
    > (Small group dinner arrangements will be made for those participants and
    > Fellows interested at local restaurants on Saturday night, but the dinner
    > will on a no-host basis.)
