    Colleagues,

With the Academy deadline now passed, I would like to draw your attention to the Administrative Sciences Association of Canada (ASAC) 2010 Annual Meeting. The Organization Theory Division Officers (Robert David, You-Ta Chuang, & Kimberly Bates) are striving for a stimulating program, and to that end I encourage you to submit a paper, volunteer to be a reviewer, discussant, and/or session chair. ASAC is a great complement to larger, more impersonal conferences, and allows organization theorists to meet in a collegial setting. Our Division is also "doctoral student friendly" -- including an award for best student paper, so please pass this message on to your doctoral students.

We are also thrilled to announce that we have collaborated with the Strategy Division to bring in Royston Greenwood from the University of Alberta as our Distinguished Speaker.

The complete call for papers is below.

    CALL FOR PAPERS
    ORGANIZATION THEORY DIVISION
    Regina Saskatchewan, Canada
    May 22-25, 2010

The Organization Theory Division of ASAC invites you to submit a paper or symposium proposal for the 2010 Annual Conference in Regina, Saskatchewan. Papers and proposals for special sessions should be submitted electronically on the conference web site ( http://asac2010.uregina.ca/) to the appropriate ASAC Division in Microsoft Word. Papers must not have been published or presented elsewhere. To be in the Proceedings, papers must conform to the ASAC Typing Style Guide and must not exceed fifteen (15) single-spaced pages (use Times New Roman 11), including all author information, the title of the paper, the abstract, all footnotes and endnotes, all tables, figures, and appendices but excluding references. On a separate page, indicate the authors' names, addresses, telephone numbers, fax numbers, and email addresses and to whom all communications should be directed [Students should also indicate their status and indicate the school in which they are enrolled]. All contributions must be received no later than 31st January 2010. Please make sure that the paper is complete in all respects since there is very little time to revise once the paper has been accepted. Members interested in assembling a symposium or workshop should prepare a detailed description of its overall purpose and focus and the specific role of each participant and send it electronically by January 31, 2010.
