Pratt; Boston College; This PDW explores new frontiers of organizational scholarship within the Division of Organization and Management Theory (OMT) and the European Group of Organizational Studies (EGOS). Participants will engage in an explorative session about emerging lines of organizational inquiry within one of four growing domains: process theory, strategy-as-practice, engaged scholarship, and creativity. Each domain discussion will be animated by scholars who bridge European and North American research traditions. The discussion will explore emerging ideas, new trends in theorizing and novel methods related to the study of organizations and organizing. It will also seek to bring together and engage in a dialogue with scholars from other divisions, such as Entrepreneurship (ENT), Organizational Change and Development (ODC), Strategy-as-Practice (SAP), and Managerial and Organizational Cognition (MOC). |
