    University of Kansas School of Business seeks an Assistant Professor of Strategic/Human Resources Management. This is a full time, unclassified, tenure-track position beginning August 2010. Required: (1) A Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a Management-related field from an AACSB accredited Business School; (2) demonstrated potential for high quality teaching in (a) Human Resources Management and (b) Strategic Management; and (3) demonstrated potential for conducting high quality research in the Management disciplines. Preferred: Preference will be given to candidates with strong research records as demonstrated through publications in top-tier academic journals and presentations at national academic conferences. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated interest in organizational-level research topics that examine how human resources or people management practices influence firm strategies and performance. Preference will also be given to candidates with an ability and willingness for flexibility in teaching and interdisciplinary research. Salary: Competitive.
