ANZAM (Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management) would like to invite you to experience a unique Doctoral Workshop Down Under. Chose from 24 elective seminars, discuss your work in small groups with academics and discussants (peers). The workshop directly follows the ANZAM Annual Conference in Adelaide, South Australia. The two-day Workshop will start on Friday December 10, 2010 at 10.00am and will kindly be hosted by the University of Adelaide.
The Workshop offers opportunities for professional development, social interchange and international networking with PhD fellows and faculties from Australasia and the world. This year's Workshop features:
Keynote speakers: Professors Sri Zaheer (http://www.csom.umn.edu/faculty-research/faculty.aspx?x500=szaheer) and Sara Reynes-Weller (http://tippie.uiowa.edu/people/profile/profile.aspx?id=195029), who will open the Workshop with presentations featuring "How to get a paper rejected" and "Research Impact".
Thesis Presentations: Each student will have the opportunity to present her/his work in 30 minutes. You will be able to provide an introduction to your research design/progress (presentations should be kept to 10 minutes to allow adequate time for feedback) and receive valuable feedback from researchers and peers. A discussant / student will discuss your abstract and presentation before receiving comments from the auditorium and senior academics.
We offer a range of 24 different seminars from which you can chose according to your personal needs and preferences.
