  • 1.  VEIC - SIC concordance

    Dear colleagues,

A couple of years ago I constructed a VEIC – SIC concordance as part of my research.

The concordance maps Venture Economics' Industry Classification (VEIC) codes onto the Standard Industry Classification (SIC) codes.

Over the years, I received several requests for the concordance. Given a recent increase in the number of requests, the concordance file is now freely available for download from my webpage (http://www-management.wharton.upenn.edu/dushnitsky/).

    Hope you find it useful.

    Best regards,

    Gary Dushnitsky

    Dear colleagues,

We have received numerous requests for the VEIC – SIC concordance that was mentioned in the recent issue of Strategic Management Journal (Dushnitsky & Shaver "Limitations to Interorganizational Knowledge Acquisition: The Paradox of Corporate Venture Capital").

Please note that the concordance file – which maps Venture Economics' Industry Classification (VEIC) codes onto the Standard Industry Classification (SIC) codes – is freely available for download from my webpage (http://www-management.wharton.upenn.edu/dushnitsky/).

    Hope you find it useful.

    Best regards,

    Gary Dushnitsky
