    The Department of Management at the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin is hiring tenure-track faculty members to join our department in the fall of 2019. We have four positions available: (i) Assistant Professor – Organizational Behavior, (ii) Associate Professor – Organizational Behavior and Entrepreneurship, (ii) Associate or Full Professor – Strategy and Entrepreneurship, and (ii) Associate or Full Professor – Strategy, with a preference for those with an interest, or potential interest, in healthcare-related fields.

    Current members of the Department of Management are Professors Ethan Burris, John Butler, Janet Dukerich, David Harrison, and Luis Martins (Department Chair); Associate Professors Caroline Bartel, Sekou Bermiss, Melissa Graebner, Andrew Henderson, Francisco Polidoro, and PK Toh; and Assistant Professors Shiva Agarwal, Andrew Brodsky, Steven Gray, Paul Green, Douglas Hannah, Shefali Patil, and Ram Ranganathan.

    The Department of Management is housed within the McCombs School of Business, a top-10 school in the UT-Dallas Business School Research Rankings. The department is home to the Center for Leadership and Ethics, the Herb Kelleher Center for Entrepreneurship, and Texas Venture Labs. In addition, the department is responsible for the school's one-year Master of Science in Technology Commercialization (MSTC) Program.

    Requirements:

    The ideal candidates for our faculty positions must demonstrate an ability to do high quality research that will have a major impact on the field of management. Candidates must also be able to teach successfully at the undergraduate, MBA, and/or executive level.
