    FACULTY POSITION IN MANAGEMENT

     

    The Department of Management at the University of Georgia seeks qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Professor in Strategic Management, starting August 2013.  This is a tenure-track position and is subject to final approval by the University of Georgia and the Board of Regents of the State of Georgia. 

     

    We seek individuals with outstanding potential to contribute to our talented group of scholars.  Candidates with 1 to 2 years of experience are preferred, but we encourage recent graduates and more senior assistants to apply.  The successful applicant will have completed his/her Ph.D. in the last four years and have demonstrated the potential to publish in top journals, the ability to teach at all levels, and the desire to work well in a collegial, interdisciplinary department.  

     

    The Department of Management at the University of Georgia is among the most productive in the nation, ranking in the top 25 over the past 5 years in publications in the top-tier Management journals.  Our roster includes current and former editors of AMJ, ORM, and JoM, and current and incoming associate editors of AMJ and JMS.  The strategy group includes Allen Amason, Scott Graffin, John Haleblian, Mike Pfarrer, and Christy Shropshire, while the O.B. group includes Jason Colquitt, Daniel Feldman, Robert Vandenberg, Laura Little, Marie Mitchell, and Jessica Rodell.
