    The Department of Management in the College of Business at Iowa State University invites applications for a tenure-track or tenured position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in Entrepreneurship with a starting date in August 2017. The successful candidate conducts high-impact scholarly research targeted at top-tier Entrepreneurship and Management journals. The candidate is expected to teach courses at the undergraduate, Master's and/or PhD levels that support the various Entrepreneurship programs offered at ISU.

    Iowa State University is launching a PhD Concentration in Entrepreneurship in Fall 2016 (http://www.business.iastate.edu/phd/curriculum/areas-of-specialization/entrepreneurship/). The core faculty in the Entrepreneurship area (Andreea Kiss, Patrick Kreiser, Andreas Schwab, and Howard Van Auken) conduct impactful research that has been published in a wide variety of top journals, including Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, Journal of Management, Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, and Journal of Small Business Management.

    Desired Qualifications:

    ·         PhD in Entrepreneurship, Management, or a closely related field.

    ·         Demonstrated ability to conduct strong scholarly research and teach at undergraduate, Master's, or PhD levels.

    ·         For those applying at associate rank: exemplary record of scholarly research, teaching, and service commensurate with the rank of Associate Professor in the College of Business at ISU. Scholarly research record as evidenced by publications in top journals.

    ·         Teaching experience at the undergraduate, Master's and PhD levels.
