Yiannis Gabriel and I invite you to sign up for the EGOS Art of Academic Reviewing Pre-Colloquium Workshop to be held on July 3, 2019 in Edinburgh prior to the 2019 EGOS Colloquium (4-7 July). For this year's workshop, we plan to give participants real hands-on practice with reviewing. Thus, all registrants must commit to submitting a review of a specific manuscript that we will provide to them before the workshop. The collected, anonymized and numbered reviews of this manuscript from the registrants, as well as the real reviews on it (when it was initially submitted to a journal) will form the material around which the discussion of academic reviewing will be organized with five experienced journal editors. It should be instructive and fun! Please join us.
