    Dear All

CALLING ALL PH.D. STUDENTS IN OMT AND RELATED AREAS.... Mentoring opportunity with senior scholars around your dissertation proposal ideas...

As in past years, the Organization & Management Theory Division is holding a Dissertation Proposal Workshop at the Academy of Management Meeting in Atlanta.

The Dissertation Proposal Workshop is a chance for students at the pre-proposal stage to draw on the wisdom and expertise of a group of established OMT scholars to develop a defensible dissertation proposal. The workshop consists of small roundtable discussions around submitted preliminary dissertation proposal synopses (maximum 5 pages covering proposed research area, methodology and contributions) between faculty panelists and doctoral students working on dissertation proposals in the panelist's area of expertise. Panelists for this year's workshop include: Linda Argote; Carnegie Mellon U.; Joel Baum; U. of Toronto; Eva Boxenbaum; Mines ParisTech; Royston Greenwood; U. of Alberta; Matt Kraatz; U. of Illinois; Ann Langley; HEC Montréal; Nelson Phillips; Imperial College London; Marc-David Seidel; The U. of British Columbia; David Whetten, Brigham Young University. The workshop will be held on Saturday early evening, and will include refreshments along with the stimulating conversations. For more details see: http://pd.aom.org/2017/Session_Details.asp?print=true&SubmissionID=11364

Capacity is limited so please contact Ann Langley (ann.langley@hec.ca ) as soon as possible to apply for this workshop and for registration instructions. Please indicate when you apply your general topic area and the stage in your doctoral program.

    Best wishes
