    Dear OMT member

    We are conducting a meta-analysis of literature that is based on Mark Granovetter?s (1973) tie
    strength theory. We are looking for studies that explore the relationships between network tie
    strength and any work-related outcomes (e.g., creativity, work performance, work attitudes,
    getting a job). If you have a study in press, in manuscript form, in progress, or in some form for
    which an effect size could be computed, we would be very grateful to hear about it. Of course,
    your work would also be included or cited in our eventual paper. The kinds of independent
    variables we are tracking include different measures of tie strength (e.g., weak versus strong ties;
    frequency of interaction and emotional intensity). The kinds of dependent variables may include
    archival outcomes (performance and innovativeness) or subjective ratings (such as job satisfaction)
    at the individual level. We are interested in studies within organizations as well as those that span
    across organizations. Our research team includes Prasad Balkundi (SUNY Buffalo) and Martin
    Kilduff (Cambridge University). Please kindly send your manuscript or any inquiry to:
    swotmeta@gmail.com or to balkundi@buffalo.edu. Thanks in advance for letting us know.
